Tell your doctor as soon as possible if you (or your child): could not be seeing as well as prior to beginning SABRIL; start to trip, run across things, or are much more clumsy than normal what is vigabatrin; are shocked by things or people coming in front of you that seem to find out of no place; or if your baby is acting in a different way than normal.
The Vigabatrin REMS Program is called for by the FDA to ensure informed risk-benefit choices prior to starting therapy, and to guarantee appropriate use vigabatrin while clients are dealt with. It is not possible for your doctor to recognize when vision loss will occur.
One of the most common side effect of SABRIL in kids 3 to 16 years is weight gain. With extreme vision loss, you might only be able to see points right in front of you (often called tunnel vision”). You are at risk for vision loss with any quantity of SABRIL.
Inform your healthcare provider immediately if seizures get worse. You and your healthcare provider will have to decide if you need to take SABRIL while you are expecting. The most common side effects of SABRIL in adults consist of: obscured vision, drowsiness, dizziness, troubles walking or feeling uncoordinated, drinking (trembling), and fatigue.
