Maybe I do say “Fugheddaboudit! I ain’t saying nuttin,” or “Gedoutahea, yer pudding me on!” So! Wherever we go, we New Yorkers will always stand out. For good or ill, we are different, and that’s what makes us so great.

What do you think might happen if you started creating new relationships on purpose? And what if you attached an immediate dollar amount value to each of those new relationships?

Along with gifts of clothes and baby necessities, baby showers give a new mom the chance to acquire diapers, which are unbelievably expensive. Have a diaper raffle at your shower, wherein each guest gets a raffle ticket for each pack of diapers that they bring. Whoever wins the raffle receives a nice gift, like a dinner gift certificate or massage. The cost of the gift will be far less than the cost of the diapers and save the new mom a bundle.

Here is a suggestion. Change it up! Step on Out! Turn left if you usually go right. Get that incline up just to where it starts to challenge you but does not beat you down. I use the treadmill and treadmill workout routines as an example given the choices right at your finger tips as you step up and have to make a decision. This is what we are given in life. We make our own choices. We take our own chances.

Others have provided additional business interests. For me the results of my “on purpose” experiment have been stunning.
